Welcome to Waves of Grace!

We have moved from Eagle's Wings to Waves of Grace, a Catalina 42 which will extend our winter ocean cruising grounds to the southern Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Please join us on our adventures! We would love to hear from you via cell phone or e-mail and when you get a minute come on down and visit!

The two gals share a dock at Navy Point. Leaving Eagle's Wings was bittersweet, but new adventures await us on Waves of Grace.

Jacksonville Landing, then Green Cove Springs and haul-out

We headed to JAX Landing on April 10th knowing that the East Coast RR Bridge was on a restricted schedule but were shocked to find out that the Main Street Bridge needed a two-hour notice before it would open.....but we were lucky and the bridge tender took pity on us and opened.  Next two surprises:  Around noon a sailboat lost engine power and hit the bridge

breaking the top of the mast off, and there was a huge festival going on in JAX with very limited tie-ups to the wall.  We held our breath and brought the boat in close to the bridge....Walt did a great job on the helm!  We were treated to bands, vendors, and all kinds of entertainment for two days before heading to Green Cove for haul-out.  See you next year!
