Welcome to Waves of Grace!

We have moved from Eagle's Wings to Waves of Grace, a Catalina 42 which will extend our winter ocean cruising grounds to the southern Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Please join us on our adventures! We would love to hear from you via cell phone or e-mail and when you get a minute come on down and visit!

The two gals share a dock at Navy Point. Leaving Eagle's Wings was bittersweet, but new adventures await us on Waves of Grace.

Pipeline Canal 10/23/2011

We were surprised this morning to find a Catholic Church directly across from us in the Wrightsville Beach anchorage. We just went to the dinghy dock and five minutes later we were in church....how nice! We spent the afternoon and night anchored in the Pipeline Canal, Mile 311. The water was really shallow coming in as we hit low tide...I tried to anchor in .01 inches of water but we decided to move over to 7'. We all walked to the Dead End Grill for some refreshments before dinner. This is a great spot with beautiful new docks and a park next door.

  1. Hello from Bum'sRest. Pipeline is one of our anchorage also, and some of the other spots you been to recently. Bum'sRest gets pulled Oct 29 till spring. Are you going to the Keys? We will be down the month of Jan with our camper in Knights Key campgound, right by the 7 mile bridge. Enjoy your trip, we are enjoying following your blog and dreaming someday of doing it again. Keep safe, Wayne, Patti and Sailor.
