We have moved from Eagle's Wings to Waves of Grace, a Catalina 42 which will extend our winter ocean cruising grounds to the southern Bahamas and the Caribbean.
Please join us on our adventures! We would love to hear from you via cell phone or e-mail and when you get a minute come on down and visit!
Catalina Swap
The two gals share a dock at Navy Point. Leaving Eagle's Wings was bittersweet, but new adventures await us on Waves of Grace.
Bow Swing
We have added a new hammock swing to the bow of our boat which is a great place to read or just look out over the mooring field. If I'm not careful the swing can go right out over the water and back which is pretty darn cool.
Hi, This is Wayne & Patti on Bums'Rest. Checking out your blog and noticed your swing pic and Bum's Rest is off your bow. How cool is that. Looks like your having a fun trip also. Love your doggie, is his name Ranger? We have a dachshund named Sailor. Sure you've heard him barking. Dosen't like his daddy starting the dinghy engine. Funny. Anyway, we'll have to meet up soon, before we leave next week. Talk soon, Patti
Hey there! Just got done making and eating snow cream (yes, made it out of snow) I LOVE your hammock! Little Jesse saw it and said "COOL"! You two look great! Stay safe!
Walt and I have been avid sailors for 38 years. Our retirement dream was to sail to Florida and the Bahamas for the winter months which we did for the first time last year, 2007-2008. We decided that we loved the cruising life
and four days after our return to Lake Ontario we traded our Catalina 320, Eagle's Wings, in for a Catalina 42 which we named Waves of Grace. We hope to continue to cruise in the Florida Keys, Gulf of Mexico, and the Bahamas for many years to come
